On the Eastern belt of Kozhikode laced up by Chaliyar and Eruvayinchi Rivers Kodiyathur stands pretty. Before its opening in 1979, People resorted to distant educational institutions even after primary education. Thus, this institution was burdened by the hopes and dreams of the local people. Pookoya Thangal Memorial HSS was sanctioned by the far sighted socially committed late C.H Muhammed Koya the then Education Minister Of Kerala by order (88/79 Gen.Edn dtd.02.06.1979). It was opened at karakutty madarassa in 1979 – a humble beginning. But it grew…….

Iridescent Success !!. The Institution, by the grace of God, has bagged the fourth Rank in the state for excellence and grabbed second in the Revenue District first in the educational District for the same. In the sub District youth festival PTMHSS dazzled all by procuring trophies including Arabic and Sanskrit. Now it’s the Monopoly of the Institution. The Institution could also ensure success in the Vidhya rangam competition, sports, Work experience etc. We could also contribute better players to National Football team.
